Japan Tourist Visa


• Passport

The applicant’s actual passport with at least 2 blank pages.

The passport has to be valid 06 months and beyond entry date.

• Application Form

The application form need to be completed and signed.

• Residency Permit / Employment Authorisation

As part of the Embassy / Consulate requirement, a copy (Front & Back) of your EP/S-Pass/ WP or PR card/ NRIC.

Singapore Permanent Residents must provide a copy of the Re-entry Permit / Form 7.

For Work Pass with QR Code – if the applicant is issued with the new Singapore Work Pass (EP/SPass/WP) which displays the QR Code, must provide a print-out of the expiry status through Ministry of Manpower (MOM)’s SGWorkPass app.

The validity of the pass should cover the trip to Japan and back to Singapore.

• Photograph

A recent passport size photograph taken within the past 06 months with all white background (kindly avoid wearing clothing that is identical to the background)

• Passport Copy

As part of the Embassy / Consulate requirement, a colour copy of the passport information page.

• Company Letter

A recent Original Company letter form the Employer is required.

  • The letter must be addressed to the Embassy of Japan in Singapore, 16 Nassim Road, Singapore 258390
  • Printed on Company letterhead paper.
  • The letter must include information of the applicant as per the passport ID page (full name, date of birth, passport no, issue date, expiry date & passport issuing authority)
  • The letter must indicate the issuance date, SALARY, JOB POSITION & DATE JOINED, specify in detail the purpose of the trip (Place of visit, arrival and departure dates.) , the party responsible for the travel expenses.
  • The letter must be signed by the legal representative of the company (eg, HR executive, Manager, Supervisor).


 In the event if the applicant is requesting for MULTIPLE -ENTRY VISA, the Company letter must clearly indicate the reason(s) for the multiple entry visa.

• Proof of Travel Arrangement

A copy of flight itinerary or e ticket is required, showing entry and exit date.

The flight itinerary should show that the applicant is departing from and terminating in Singapore.

For single entry visa application, the travel date should be within 03 months form the date of application. 

 • Power of Attorney 

A letter of Authorization is necessary when the application is made on behalf.

• Other Information 

The Embassy reserve the rights to request for additional documents/information if necessary to support the application 

The documents requirement may vary depending on the Nationality, we will send you the detailed requirement once the order request is submitted. 

Visa processing will take 05 working days to process upon successful acceptance of the application by  the embassy.

However, in some cases where one of the government offices referral is required, the processing time can be extended up to 1 or 2 months.

We can arrange for the Collection & Delivery via courier service. Additional charges will be applicable for the courier service. Collection/Delivery charges starts from as low as SGD 12 onwards , depending on the location.
